Linn-Benton Community College, serving roughly 12,000 students, faculty and staff, faced low opt-in rates (about 500 users), an outdated contact database, a geographically dispersed campus, and varied message delivery preferences. To solve these problems the college selected Regroup Mass Notification for campus emergency and routine communications, seeking seamless integration with their LMS (Ellucian) and multi-channel messaging.
Regroup Mass Notification implemented a one-click, multi-channel platform that integrates with Ellucian, supports bulk CSV imports and automatic enrollment via API, offers templates and TipSafe reporting, and lets users set preferences through the AlertMe app. The switch eliminated the opt-in barrier, brought essentially the entire campus into the system (covering the ~12,000 community), sped delivery of emergency and routine alerts, and expanded use by Enrollment Services for announcements—improving overall communication and preparedness.
