The Bordeaux Tourism Office Increases Bookings by 27% with Regiondo

Bordeaux Tourism, the official tourist office for the city of Bordeaux, launched the Visit Bordeaux website to let visitors book local tours and activities. Facing tight development budgets, they needed an easy-to-use booking interface, secure online payments, and a way to distribute payouts to suppliers and generate commission. Regiondo acted as the booking partner for the project.

Working with local suppliers and Regiondo, Bordeaux Tourism embedded the Regiondo booking system across the site so visitors could view, compare and book offers without leaving Visit Bordeaux. Regiondo handled secure payment processing, supplier payout distribution and commission management, creating an efficient marketplace; the result was a 27% increase in bookings, an average basket value of nearly €62 and a 4.3% conversion rate (about six times the industry average), adding a new revenue stream for Bordeaux Tourism.
