Ascentis, an accountants and business advisory firm with offices in Leeds and Ilkley, was facing an expensive upgrade of its old document management system. Incompatibilities in file formats made filing complex and time consuming, and the company also wanted a simpler way to improve business processes and employee communication.

Refractiv implemented Google Workspace, replacing Microsoft BPOS/Office 365 and Microsoft Outlook with Gmail and Google Calendar and migrating documents and metadata from Invu to Google Drive. Refractiv also integrated Iris practice management with Google Drive and enabled OCR scanning of incoming post, making documents easier to find and view from anywhere, improving accessibility, collaboration, and the speed of issue resolution.
