AccentHansen, part of the HansenGroup, designs, manufactures and installs steel and glass doors in the UK and beyond. Facing rising hardware and software costs and a need for more open access to information, the company chose Refractiv and Google Apps to replace its traditional client and server based systems.

Refractiv planned the move using Google Hangout sessions and shared documents, then migrated mail, contacts and calendar in a short timeframe. After training, users moved from Outlook to Gmail and started using Google Drive, with smartphones and tablets connected as well. The result was improved access to information from any device, location and at any time, plus substantial cost and time savings, reduced energy and paper use, and better collaboration across employees, customers and suppliers.
