Old Second National Bank, a long-standing Chicago-area bank, wanted to modernize talent management and create a more equitable, inclusive performance process. In 2017, it partnered with Reflektive and used Reflektive’s continuous feedback and performance management platform to help employees gather feedback, develop skills, and support fairer reviews.

Reflektive enabled Old Second National Bank to pull in ongoing manager and peer feedback, align employees around shared competencies, and incorporate goals into review forms to reduce recency bias and improve objectivity. The bank also drove strong adoption of goal-setting, increasing it from 30% in 3Q2019 to 94% currently, an increase of more than 200%, while strengthening continuous feedback, development, and inclusion across the organization.
