EOS GmbH, a world-leading supplier of industrial 3D printing technologies, faced the challenge of making high-performance polymer and metal printing accessible and serviceable for medium-sized businesses. To support a more attractive subscription model and reduce the barrier of complex commissioning and support, EOS partnered with RE'FLEKT and evaluated the AR-based platform REFLEKT ONE for step-by-step guidance, commissioning and remote assistance.
RE'FLEKT implemented REFLEKT ONE to create a digital field assistant—interactive AR manuals and documentation derived from existing CAD data—merging on-device AR guidance with remote expert support. As a result, EOS was able to streamline commissioning and training workflows, scale support without proportionally increasing on-site visits, and make 3D printing more accessible to SMEs; the measurable impacts reported include the establishment of a reusable digital support solution, reduced dependence on in-person service, and improved customer service delivery enabled by RE'FLEKT.
