ArcelorMittal, the global steel and mining leader with 168,000 employees and steelmaking facilities in 17 countries, faced a commoditized market where price was the main differentiator. ArcelorMittal implemented Redwood Business Process Automation – Finance Edition integrated with SAP ERP to automate 12 key financial processes (including GR/IR, intercompany, reconciliations, journal entries and closing tasks). The automation standardized and sped up month-end close, improved data quality and auditability, significantly reduced costs, and freed finance teams to focus on higher‑value activities.
