Home appliance manufacturer improves supply chain efficiency and reduces costs

BSH Home Appliances, a global leader in home appliances with 60,000 employees and €13.9 billion in sales, faced major supply‑chain disruption because its legacy scheduler (CA AutoSys) could only run time‑based jobs. With 250,000 tasks per day across dozens of SAP and non‑SAP systems and more than 2,000 servers, BSH relied on manual monitoring and fragile custom workarounds that caused stalled workflows, late visibility into failures and even factory shutdowns.

BSH replaced AutoSys with Redwood Business Process Automation – Workload Edition, using event‑ and data‑driven orchestration, real‑time dashboards, alerts and automated branching to standardize and automate end‑to‑end processes. The change eliminated costly custom development and manual work, delivered full visibility for better forecasting and faster response, and removed production shutdowns—driving lower costs and more resilient supply‑chain operations.
