Dansk Supermarked Group - Customer Case Study

Dansk Supermarked Group, Denmark’s largest retailer with more than 1,200 stores and nearly two million daily customers, needed to bring core supply‑chain activities in‑house as legacy mainframes aged and outsourcing costs rose. Its existing scheduler lacked visibility and alerting, forcing manual interventions, slowing forecasting and replenishment, and risking stockouts and operational disruption.

DSG rolled out SAP Business Process Automation (BPA) by Redwood to connect and automate end‑to‑end supply‑chain processes across its SAP landscape, adding 15 checkpoints for close monitoring. Automation now restarts and flags errors automatically, reduces 24/7 outsourced support, and lets non‑technical staff handle in‑house support. The result: improved supply‑chain visibility, more accurate forecasting and replenishment, lower costs and downtime, and expansion of automation to payroll for 14,000 employees.
