Central Book House (CB) is a Benelux book distributor that coordinates warehousing, logistics, e‑fulfillment and invoicing for publishers and roughly 2,500 booksellers and libraries, packing more than 200,000 books a day from 10 warehouses. As its business and custom applications (plus Oracle Financials) grew more complex, CB needed to automate the intricate interactions between its homegrown order, inventory and accounting systems to keep service levels high and ensure on‑time delivery.

CB implemented Redwood Business Process Automation – Workload Edition to orchestrate end‑to‑end processes across homegrown and off‑the‑shelf apps in on‑premises, cloud and container environments. Redwood added dashboards, alerts and predictive SLAs to visualize and monitor workflows, enabling modernized order entry, better coordinated warehouse management, immediate responses and rapid stakeholder notifications—helping CB maintain on‑time delivery and expand into new markets while preserving high service levels.
