Case Study: Encode upgrades cyber threat management platform with Redwerk

Encode future-proofs Enorasys with Redwerk in 1,400+ man-hours

Encode, a cybersecurity company based in Athens, needed to upgrade and future-proof its Enorasys security analytics and response orchestration platform. Their challenge was to improve service quality, implement a multitenant architecture to reduce infrastructure costs, and switch to a better-performing database while ensuring the software remained robust and compliant with strict security standards. To achieve these goals within an aggressive timeline, they partnered with the software development vendor Redwerk.

Redwerk refactored the API, migrated the primary data warehouse from MySQL and Splunk to Elasticsearch, and implemented a multitenant architecture and a role-based access control system (RBAC). This resulted in a successful platform upgrade with optimized business logic, extended unit and integration tests, and significantly reduced infrastructure costs for the customer. The project, which required over 1,400 man-hours, was completed on time and helped Encode's platform win the IBM Beacon Award for Outstanding Security Solution.
