Consist Group Accelerates Hosted Customer Applications

Consist Group, a global MSP with customers in 40 countries and over 1,500 employees, needed a storage platform for a new IaaS/DRaaS hosting service to overcome VM performance limits on legacy iSCSI SANs and long, tedious recoveries for file servers and virtual desktops. After evaluating alternatives, Consist selected Reduxio and deployed the Reduxio 550HX enterprise flash storage to meet their performance, scalability and manageability requirements.

Reduxio implemented the 550HX with Tier‑X active tiering, NoDup in‑line dedupe/compression and BackDating continuous protection (plus StorApp for vSphere), enabling flash performance for all workloads, one‑second VM and disk recoveries, and about 3× more usable capacity for VMs and applications. The Reduxio platform also let Consist provision and launch the hosting infrastructure in roughly one hour, delivering measurable gains in speed, capacity and recovery time.
