The City of Thousand Oaks, a California municipality serving over 130,000 residents with IT operations across three core sites and multiple satellite locations, faced limited availability in remote sites and relied solely on tape backups for data protection. After evaluating options, the city selected Reduxio and its HX550 platform (with Reduxio StorApp for VMware vSphere) to address availability, performance and recoverability shortfalls.

Reduxio deployed the HX550 to deliver high availability for vSphere environments, flash-first performance, and BackDating™ point-in-time recovery to complement tape restores.
