A Redpanda Data Case Study
StoneX, a Fortune 100 financial services franchise, needed a more efficient way to power its observability pipelines and latency-sensitive streaming data processing. As its trading and risk systems generated terabytes of logs daily, StoneX struggled with Apache Kafka performance, latency, support, and rising costs.
By moving to Redpanda Self-Managed (Enterprise), StoneX was able to migrate easily by changing endpoints and quickly see strong gains. Redpanda cut latency from double-digit to single-digit milliseconds, handled the same workloads on 5–6x fewer resources than Kafka, and reduced hardware, support, and licensing costs while enabling new real-time data products.
