Ekata, which runs a proprietary Identity GraphTM for digital identity verification and fraud prevention, needed to support 150,000 to 200,000 calls per second against a 3TB database while keeping latency extremely low. As the company expanded globally, it required a solution that could handle heavy traffic, maintain sub-100ms response times, and reduce infrastructure costs.

Redis provided Redis Cloud as the primary database, along with Auto Tiering to keep hot data in DRAM and colder data on Flash-based SSDs. This helped Ekata maintain consistent end-to-end latency below 100ms while cutting DRAM usage to just 30% of prior levels, delivering hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual infrastructure savings.
