Starlogik’s ‘Power of Free’ connects millions on a single Redis Cluster

Starlogik, a telecom innovator behind the “Power of Free” and ZRO technology, needed a way to handle extremely high call volumes and massive amounts of data from mobile carriers without slowing calls or losing data. Its existing database approach couldn’t keep up with the scale, so the company turned to Redis, first using open-source Redis and then Redis Cloud for a managed low-latency cache and data-processing foundation.

Using Redis Cloud, Starlogik built a short-term cache and downstream batch-processing pipeline to move data into a warehouse for analytics, all while keeping the frontend call flow uninterrupted. With Redis, Starlogik now processes over 110 million calls per day, peaks at thousands of calls per second, and has switched over 120 billion total connections, with single-node performance benchmarked at more than 30,000 transactions per second.
