MyTeam11, a leading fantasy sports platform with 15 million+ users, struggled with highly unpredictable traffic spikes, especially in the 30 minutes before cricket matches when users rushed to build teams. Its previous SQL database could not reliably handle the load, creating a need for a fast, stable database that could scale with sudden demand.

Redis implemented Redis Cloud on AWS for MyTeam11 to power user profile data, real-time leaderboards, authentication, and session management.
