A Redis Case Study
Rent Dynamics is a full-service lead capture and management provider for the multifamily industry. As contact volume grew to about 100,000 monthly callers and their real-time filtering and top-ten queue queries became too expensive for a transactional Microsoft SQL Server, the company struggled to maintain accurate, prioritized work queues and meet its promise of fast response times.
Rent Dynamics moved queue processing to Redis Enterprise, using Sorted Sets and Hashes with auto-failover, persistence and Cluster Manager tooling to offload expensive queries from SQL Server. The change drastically reduced database load, restored precise, lightning-fast outstanding‑work counts even under heavy concurrent queries, delivered high availability in their microservices environment, and freed the team to expand Redis use into additional workflows.
