Case Study: Bibblio achieves cost-effective, low-latency scale for rapid growth with Redis Enterprise (Redis)

Redis Enterprise’s limitless cluster configuration ensures fast response times while controlling spend

Bibblio is a London-based startup that uses natural language processing, recommendation algorithms and machine learning to help digital publishers increase audience and revenue. As the business grew rapidly, their IBM Compose-hosted Redis deployment became too restrictive and costly; attempts to use AWS ElastiCache and Google Cloud introduced confusing billing, performance constraints or costly migrations. They needed a flexible, low-latency datastore that could scale without letting costs spiral.

Bibblio migrated its key-value and caching workloads to Redis Enterprise on AWS, using CloudFormation, Ansible deployment templates and spot instances to standardize and speed cluster provisioning. The recommendation engine uses Redis Sorted Sets and in-memory operations for instant results; Redis Enterprise’s fixed plans, automation, monitoring and 24x7 support cut storage spend, preserved sub-second latency and increased capacity so the team can focus on improving recommendations rather than managing infrastructure.
