How Redis Enterprise Powers TransNexus’ Microservices Architecture to Help Fight Robocallers

TransNexus, a telecom software provider fighting robocalls, needed a fast and reliable way to process call decisions in real time as part of its cloud-based ClearIP platform. Built on a microservices architecture, the system had to support high call volumes, security, and instant routing decisions, while also storing configuration and historical call data. Redis Enterprise is the key vendor product used to power this real-time database layer.

Using Redis Enterprise, TransNexus implemented a real-time database and queueing system for call processing, job routing, and anomaly detection. Redis helped the company handle hundreds of millions of keys and support customers processing thousands of calls per second, with call processing typically completed in about 20 milliseconds. According to TransNexus, Redis is the only database needed online for call processing and the most important database in its stack.
