Session state was tied to virtual machines, causing lost sessions, brittle and costly scaling, and diverting engineering resources away from new product work.

The company migrated to Redis Enterprise VPC (fully managed in Azure), decoupling compute and state and consolidating stateful data into a single, highly responsive store.
