Melbourne Real Estate, led by founder Peter Hooymans, was struggling with extreme staff turnover (about 60–70%) during rapid growth. To focus the team on employee experience and create a consistent framework for recognition and engagement, Melbourne Real Estate deployed the Redii platform (Redii.com) in March 2015.
Using Redii’s recognition framework and purpose-built awards (for example a “Google Review” award) and peer-to-peer recognition, Melbourne Real Estate aligned employee behaviour with business goals. The Redii implementation helped the team nearly double, reduced attrition from ~60–70% to under 10%, generated 450+ Google reviews and a #1 organic ranking for “real estate Melbourne,” and produced strong engagement metrics (e‑NPS +86%, employee satisfaction 9.4/10), significantly cutting recruitment time and costs.
