A Redcentric Case Study
PeaSoup, an award-winning cloud provider, faced the challenge of launching an immersion cooling system for their HPC cloud but could not find a data centre partner with the specialist, sustainable infrastructure required. They needed a high-capacity partner with expertise in hosting this innovative and efficient cooling technology to power their ECO Cloud solution.
Redcentric provided the solution by hosting the system in their energy-efficient Gatwick data centre, leveraging their resilient infrastructure and engineering experience. The results included a heat dissipation capacity of 50kW, using 17% less power on cooling at full capacity, and an annual saving of 2 tonnes of CO2e. Redcentric's support enabled PeaSoup to successfully launch the UK's first commercially deployed immersion cooling solution, guaranteeing excellent uptime for their growing client base.
