North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group - Customer Case Study

North Central London Clinical Commissioning Group (NCL CCG) needed a fast, secure way to enable remote working for around 4,500 staff during the Covid-19 pandemic, while maintaining access to critical NHS applications and HSCN services. With physical devices too slow to procure and deploy, NCL CCG turned to Redcentric and its Windows Virtual Desktop offering to create a scalable alternative.

Redcentric designed and deployed a Windows Virtual Desktop environment with multi-factor authentication and conditional access, giving staff device-agnostic access to core clinical systems from any compliant device. The solution was delivered in just two weeks, improved security and flexibility, reduced the need for rapid device procurement, and received extremely positive user feedback, with NCL CCG planning to expand the platform further.
