Hays, a recruitment business and long-standing Redcentric customer, needed to overhaul its network across 102 offices to support more flexible working, heavier use of Microsoft Teams video calls, and a shift toward a cloud-first, internet-connected office model. Redcentric provided SD-WAN and managed network services to help Hays improve user experience, optimize bandwidth, and strengthen security.

Redcentric implemented a phased rollout of Fortinet firewalls, FortiClient, FortiAnalyzer, and centrally managed SD-WAN, enabling local internet breakout, traffic prioritization, and Zero Trust access across 95+ sites. The results included effectively doubling bandwidth for critical video applications, reducing traffic through Hays’ data centers from around 200MB–300MB to under 100MB on the primary link, faster configuration changes, better visibility and control, and stronger cyber detection and protection.
