A Redcentric Case Study
East Lancashire Medical Services, a social enterprise providing out-of-hours urgent primary care across East Lancashire, needed more control over its IT after years of relying on NHS-run infrastructure. Its existing setup limited agility, delayed change, and blocked a new IP telephony rollout, so the organization turned to Redcentric for a more flexible, secure, and resilient solution.
Redcentric delivered N3 connectivity, managed firewalls, hosted virtual servers, and SIP trunks to bring the new phone system onto the network and support ELMS’s round-the-clock operations. The change gave East Lancashire Medical Services greater agility, stronger security, improved support, and clearer cost control, while also enabling better call analytics and resource planning to improve patient care.
