The Confederation of British Industry (CBI) needed a secure, efficient way to manage IT and communications across 11 offices in the UK and overseas, including Brussels and Washington. With staff spread across multiple locations and a global presence to support, the CBI wanted a centralised, cost-effective solution that could provide 24/7 access to data and reliable voice services. Redcentric was selected to help deliver that support.

Redcentric implemented a managed, centralised IT and telecommunications solution built on converged IP technology, including a UK-wide network, hosted IP telephony, and managed backup services. The result was free calls between sites, improved internal communication and productivity, and secure access to critical data through Redcentric’s data centres and MPLS network. The CBI also reported direct cost savings, with an expected 20% annual reduction in calling costs.
