Bidvest Logistics, a leading UK hospitality supply chain provider, needed a fast, reliable and scalable network to support time-critical operations, while also exploring convergence for its voice strategy and finding a supplier that could act as a true partner. The business wanted its ICT and telecoms infrastructure to stay aligned with the demands of a fast-growing, agile organisation, and turned to Redcentric for help with a managed networking and telephony upgrade.

Redcentric implemented a converged solution using its hosted Unity IP telephony service over a new MPLS network for 400 staff across Head Office and six depots, alongside specialist call centre capabilities. The rollout was completed with minimum disruption, and Bidvest reported faster application speeds, improved resilience, better value for money, greater agility and scalability, and stronger ICT-business alignment, with Redcentric also winning Best New Supplier and Best New Account Manager at Bidvest’s annual supplier awards.
