A Redbooth Case Study
Tulane University Medical Group, the clinical practice group for Tulane University School of Medicine, needed a better way to manage the rollout of an electronic medical records system across more than 40 clinics. Using email and spreadsheets made it difficult to track tasks, responsibilities, and complex reporting requirements needed to qualify for Meaningful Use incentives worth about $1.5 million annually. Redbooth was chosen as the project collaboration tool to help the team work more effectively.
Redbooth gave Tulane University Medical Group a centralized way to collaborate, making project histories and task ownership easier to find and reducing reliance on long email threads. The team became more mobile and flexible, held fewer meetings, and saw a major productivity boost; according to Eric Gallagher, for some people it made them “100% more productive.”
