Iron Mountain, a company with large-scale green energy goals, sought to significantly reduce electricity consumption by replacing old, inefficient lighting across its portfolio. The challenge was prioritizing this capital-intensive lighting initiative amidst competing internal resources. To overcome this, they partnered with Redaptive.

Redaptive implemented a comprehensive LED retrofit program over two years across 428 locations, upgrading 310,000 fixtures without disrupting facility operations. The solution was delivered at no upfront cost to Iron Mountain. The results were substantial, including 10-year gross savings of $78 million, a reduction of 668 million kWh in energy consumption, and the avoidance of 204,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions.
