Bentley Mills, California's largest carpet design and manufacturing company, sought to enhance the sustainability of its operations without upfront capital. They partnered with the vendor Redaptive to find an innovative financing solution for these improvements.

Redaptive implemented an Energy-as-a-Service program that included LED lighting retrofits, air handling improvements, and water conservation measures. This solution resulted in $270,000 in annual gross utility savings, a 40% reduction in energy use for retrofitted technologies, and annual water savings of 32 million gallons. The project also avoids 1,160 metric tons of CO2 emissions each year.
