Burhouse Limited, a supplier of calibrated stones and jewellery components, faced significant challenges after years of problems with a Magento ecommerce site that was losing customers and money. Red Technology implemented the tradeit ecommerce platform, which was integrated with SAP Business One ERP. The solution featured a comprehensive 'My Account' area for trade customers with tools like quick order forms, visible credit limits, and saved baskets, alongside advanced search capabilities for their 9,000+ products. The new site eliminated previous limitations, such as basket size restrictions, and launched with minimal issues. This provided Burhouse with a platform set for future growth without the constraints of their previous system.
