Case Study: Tatami Fightwear achieves 93% enforcement success against counterfeits with Red Points

A Red Points Case Study

Preview of the Tatami Fightwear Case Study

How Tatami Got Counterfeiters to Tap Out by Using a Powerful Automated Solution

Tatami Fightwear, a South Wales–based sportswear brand, was being inundated with counterfeits across dedicated websites, major marketplaces and social media—often sold at about 30% of retail and repeatedly relaunched under new domains and seller IDs. After trying manual takedowns and considering legal action, Tatami engaged Red Points’ automated brand‑protection software to detect and tackle infringements more efficiently.

Red Points’ platform was trialled and then rolled out; with Tatami staff trained on the system, Red Points detected and removed hundreds of infringements—1,935 counterfeits taken down across some 38 offending sites—and delivered a 93% enforcement success rate (Tatami reports about 98% of their online listings are now legitimate). The solution cut the team’s manual workload, gave daily visibility into incidents, and helped Tatami maintain brand integrity and protect wholesale and customer confidence.
