How Red Points helped ASICS remove over $2.5 billion worth of counterfeit products online

ASICS, the global performance sportswear brand, faced a major online counterfeiting problem that was harming its reputation and revenue. Before working with Red Points, its previous brand protection provider could only remove a small share of counterfeit listings each month, leaving ASICS unable to tackle the full scale of IP infringement worldwide.

Red Points provided ASICS with automated brand protection tools, including computer vision/image recognition, real-time marketplace monitoring, and enforcement workflows to detect and remove counterfeit listings at scale. The results were significant: more than 1.78 million images scanned, over 1.2 million infringements enforced, a 99.7% enforcement success rate, and over 200,000 counterfeit listings identified in the first four months, helping ASICS reduce manual enforcement to just 3–5 hours per month.
