Rackspace Builds Openstack Private Cloud Solution with Red Hat

Rackspace Technology, a managed cloud provider, needed a way to help customers adopt OpenStack private clouds while handling the complexity, security, and deployment challenges of cloud migration. To address this, Rackspace partnered with Red Hat and used Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Ceph Storage, and other Red Hat services as part of its Cloud-as-a-Service offering.

Red Hat helped Rackspace build Rackspace Private Cloud powered by Red Hat, a flexible and scalable private cloud solution with enterprise support and training. The result was faster provisioning, cutting setup time from more than 45 days to less than 3 days, while also reducing costs, simplifying deployment, and improving agility and reliability for customers.
