NTU Increases Efficiency and Performance While Saving Costs with a Hybrid Cloud

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) needed a secure, flexible, high-performance cloud infrastructure to support demanding research and HPC workloads while improving resource utilization and reducing the overhead of manual provisioning. NTU partnered with Red Hat, using Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure to create a hybrid cloud environment that could manage both on-premise resources and AWS.

Red Hat implemented a solution built on Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure, including Red Hat CloudForms, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization, and Red Hat OpenStack Platform, with support from Red Hat Consulting. The result was a seamless hybrid cloud that improved scalability and performance, enabled self-service resource access, and cut provisioning time from at least a day to 30 minutes, delivering measurable time and cost savings.
