Nexor Achieves Common Criteria Certification with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

Nexor, a public sector and defense software company, needed to move off an aging proprietary platform for its secure messaging and gateway products while still meeting strict interoperability and security demands. To support its Nexor Sentinel email gateway and regain Common Criteria certification, the company turned to Red Hat and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, along with Red Hat Satellite.

Red Hat implemented Red Hat Enterprise Linux with SELinux features and Satellite management to modernize Nexor’s platform, automate updates, and improve security and integration. The result was Sentinel 3E achieving Common Criteria EAL4 certification, zero-downtime operation, faster application builds cut from up to 3 days to a few hours, and easier customer patch delivery through Red Hat Satellite.
