Mitsubishi Research Institute DCS, an IT services company in Japan, was under pressure from rising offshore competition and needed a business process re-engineering system to support stable, high-quality service for its 1,400 customers. It turned to Red Hat JBoss Middleware, including BPM, ECM, portal, SOA, and BRMS capabilities, to replace fragmented customer-by-customer operations with a more standardized, company-wide approach.
Red Hat implemented the Red Hat JBoss Middleware platform with support from Red Hat Consulting, helping DCS integrate the system smoothly and align teams around clearer processes and shared knowledge. The result was a more transparent and efficient operational model, with stronger process standardization, easier access to manuals and work instructions, and a flexible, future-proof platform that DCS can build on for new outsourcing and cloud services.
