Macquarie Transforms Digital Banking with Red Hat Openshift

Macquarie Group, a global financial services provider, needed to modernize its retail digital banking experience in Australia to meet rising customer expectations and simplify a complex, monolithic IT environment. Working with Red Hat, Macquarie adopted Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform along with Red Hat Gluster Storage, Red Hat CloudForms, Ansible by Red Hat, and Red Hat Consulting and Training.

Red Hat helped Macquarie move to a cloud-based, DevOps model that enabled faster releases, stronger security, and greater scalability. Macquarie migrated more than 60 applications and over 150 services, cut release times from hours to minutes, improved developer productivity by more than 50%, and can now set up an entire digital environment in 10 minutes instead of weeks or months.
