Leshop.Ch Offers Innovative Services Faster with Red Hat Openshift Container Platform

LeShop.ch, Switzerland’s leading online supermarket, needed to modernize an aging, complex IT environment that was slowing innovation and making it difficult to deliver new services quickly. The company wanted a more modular, agile architecture to support continuous improvements and faster rollout of customer-facing applications, and it chose Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform with Red Hat Consulting to help make that happen.

Red Hat implemented a scalable hybrid-cloud application platform that automated provisioning and management, while Red Hat Consulting helped LeShop.ch deploy it and build in-house expertise. The results were significant: new application deployment dropped from four days to about one hour, overall delivery times improved from six weeks to four, and the company now runs 36 applications per domain across two Red Hat OpenShift clusters with greater flexibility and confidence.
