Case Study: Global Bank meets Federal Reserve requirements with Red Hat

A Red Hat Case Study

Preview of the Global Bank Case Study

Global Bank Easily Meets Federal Reserve Requirements with Help from Red Hat

Global Bank needed to meet new Federal Reserve requirements after the 2008 financial crisis, but aging legacy applications, limited skills, and a slow delivery process made it difficult to provide real-time risk information for intra-day trading. To address this, Global Bank worked with Red Hat, using Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, Red Hat JBoss BRMS, Red Hat JBoss Fuse, and Red Hat Consulting.

Red Hat helped Global Bank launch a rules-driven decision service that delivered real-time risk analysis and allowed business experts to update rules directly. Red Hat also enabled system integration and data aggregation across disparate sources, leading to simplified deployment, improved automation, and continuous delivery that increased releases from every 12–18 months to more than a dozen iterations in a single month.
