A Red Hat Case Study

Preview of the Flytoget Case Study

Flytoget Finds New Opportunities with a Modern Infrastructure

Flytoget, the Oslo-based high-speed rail operator, needed a more agile, elastic IT architecture to stay competitive, improve partner integration, and support growing mobile and digital services. To meet these goals, the company worked with Red Hat and adopted Red Hat JBoss Fuse, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and the 3scale API Management Platform as part of its move from dedicated in-house hardware to the cloud.

Red Hat helped Flytoget modernize its infrastructure with a secure integration and API platform that made it easier to connect with partners, expose services to developers, and improve mobile ticketing and timetable experiences. The result was better access to external tools and data, faster development, and a more collaborative innovation model, while Flytoget continued serving nearly seven million passengers a year with 97% customer satisfaction and 97.3% punctuality.
