Dräxlmaier Improves Data Exchange to Ensure Timely Parts Delivery with Red Hat

Dräxlmaier Group, a global automotive supplier, needed a highly reliable way to exchange production planning data to support just-in-time and just-in-sequence delivery of customized parts. Its previous database-based approach caused stalled transactions and locked records, creating risk for timely parts delivery. Red Hat helped address this challenge with Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform and Red Hat JBoss A-MQ.

Red Hat implemented a Java EE-based integration environment and messaging platform to improve data exchange between Dräxlmaier’s planning and shop-floor systems. The result was high availability, simpler system management, and more reliable production control for JIT/JIS processes. With Red Hat, Dräxlmaier also gained flexibility to build new Java applications, strengthen its competitive position, and support continued optimization of production and delivery applications.
