C.A. Mobile Meets Traffic Demands with a Modern Infrastructure

C.A. Mobile, Ltd., a mobile technology company in Tokyo, needed a way to handle sudden traffic spikes on popular artists’ websites without relying on manual intervention or an inflexible in-house server environment. Working with Red Hat, the company chose Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform along with Red Hat Training and Certifications and Red Hat Consulting to build a more modern, self-managed infrastructure.

With help from Red Hat, C.A. Mobile implemented an OpenStack-based private cloud that could automatically scale commercial services and support production workloads. The result was a major improvement in speed and efficiency: server preparation time dropped from about half a day to around ten minutes, and operating costs decreased significantly, while the IT team also strengthened its OpenStack skills through hands-on training and certification.
