Case Study: Brinker International achieves faster, more scalable digital dining experiences with Red Hat

A Red Hat Case Study

Preview of the Brinker International Case Study

Brinker offers innovative digital dining experience with Red Hat

Brinker International, the parent company of Chili’s and Maggiano’s, wanted to modernize its digital dining experience as online ordering, mobile use, and guest expectations grew. Its legacy systems could not support fast code changes, consistent configurations, or the scale needed for a unified website, mobile, and tabletop ordering experience. Brinker chose Red Hat, using Red Hat Enterprise Linux and related tools as the foundation for its new e-commerce platform.

Red Hat helped Brinker build a flexible open source environment with Red Hat Gluster Storage, Red Hat Satellite, and Red Hat Insights. The new platform enabled CI/CD, cut environment provisioning from weeks or months to hours or minutes, and reduced deployments from hours to under five minutes with zero downtime in production. Brinker also launched its digital curbside service in under eight weeks, handled hundreds of thousands of transactions on a peak day with no outages, and saw about 50% growth in revenue and transaction volume compared with the prior year.
