A Red Hat Case Study
Bank Audi, Lebanon’s largest bank by customer deposits and total assets, needed a more agile and flexible platform to support growth across the Middle East and launch new banking services. Its complex UNIX environment made it difficult to scale quickly and keep up with demand, so the bank turned to Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite, and Red Hat Consulting to modernize its infrastructure.
Red Hat helped Bank Audi migrate critical services from UNIX to Linux, standardize on x86 hardware, and simplify server management. The result was a major boost in efficiency: server provisioning time dropped from more than a week to under seven minutes, and IT productivity increased by an estimated 100% or more. Red Hat Training and Certification also strengthened the bank’s internal expertise, helping Bank Audi continue its innovation roadmap with greater speed and lower complexity.
