Banco Azteca Decreases Infrastructure Costs by 40% and Application Errors by 99%

Banco Azteca, a financial services company in Mexico City, needed a more secure, efficient, and cost-effective platform for customer transactions while moving away from proprietary infrastructure. It turned to Red Hat Enterprise Linux, along with Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, to modernize its application environment and improve operations.

With help from Red Hat Consulting and Red Hat Training, Banco Azteca migrated from Solaris and AIX to Red Hat and standardized its new platform. The result was a more stable and economical infrastructure, faster online transactions of under a second, a 99% reduction in application errors per day, and a 40% decrease in costs.
