ASX Modernizes I.T. Platform to Speed Application Delivery with Red Hat

The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) needed to modernize its legacy application server platform, which had become inconsistent, unstable, and expensive, while still meeting the high reliability, security, and performance demands of a major financial market. ASX worked with Red Hat and used Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform, Red Hat JBoss Web Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Red Hat Consulting to support critical web applications like ASX Online.

Red Hat implemented a more stable, enterprise-grade foundation that improved recovery, availability, and performance, including self-healing database reconnects and application restarts that were 60 times faster than the previous platform. With Red Hat, ASX reduced support costs and freed resources for innovation, while also gaining hands-on training and expert support to speed delivery of new digital services.
