Amsterdam Airport Schiphol Builds Agile Cloud with Red Hat

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe’s busiest airports, wanted to become a leading digital airport by improving passenger experience, agility, and scalability across its IT systems. To do that, it turned to Red Hat and used Red Hat OpenShift, along with Red Hat JBoss Fuse and Red Hat 3scale API Management Platform, to modernize its cloud and API environment while avoiding vendor lock-in.

Red Hat implemented OpenShift Dedicated and OpenShift Container Platform with consulting support, enabling Schiphol to launch a new cloud platform in production in just 10 days. The solution helped the airport cut development time for new services and APIs by 50%, speed API creation, and support self-service workflows and multicloud flexibility.
