A Red Hat Case Study
AMD, a global semiconductor company, needed a faster and more reliable way to share up-to-the-minute data across its worldwide engineering teams. Its existing batch-processing approach caused delays of 24 to 48 hours, created bottlenecks, and often required manual fixes, slowing access to critical information and affecting time to market. Red Hat JBoss Fuse and Red Hat Enterprise Linux were used to address these challenges.
With support from Red Hat Consulting, AMD deployed a centralized enterprise service bus using Red Hat JBoss Fuse to move data in near real time across ERP, identity, build, and transactional systems. The result was just-in-time delivery of critical information, fewer delays, proactive issue handling with automated remediation, and more standardized data across the enterprise. Red Hat helped AMD streamline operations, reduce complexity, and accelerate business intelligence and product development.
